EZGIL at METAL ESWS 2025
At METAL ESWS in Istanbul, EZGIL met industry professionals to discuss how detection, triggering and suppression choices can respond to the varied risks of industrial facilities.

EZGIL took part in METAL ESWS in Istanbul on 13–14 November 2025. The event provided a setting for conversations about worker safety and well-being in the metallurgical sector. We met industry professionals and discussed how fire safety planning can respond to the conditions found in industrial operations.
Protection shaped by the working environment
Industrial facilities contain different processes, equipment and operating constraints. A fire safety design therefore needs to consider where a risk may begin, how it can be detected and what type of response is appropriate for the protected area. The route from detection to activation matters just as much as the extinguishing technology itself.
EZGIL’s detection and triggering portfolio includes Fire-Tag® and Trigger-Tag®. These devices can be reviewed alongside suppression products such as IPR E.01 when planning an integrated response. The selection and placement of equipment always depend on a site-specific assessment rather than a single standard layout.
